Mileage... what are you getting?
Sadly, I have to admit that I am getting around 16 mpg, but my average speed is 16mph... I mostly drive in the city. The good news is that I'm only filling up my tank every 2 weeks or so...
When I go on a road trip I get around 26 miles to the gallon, with an average speed of 78 mph or so.
I have an '06 Cooper S with a JCW, and I keep the revs around 5000 (terrible, but much more fun).

hi there lead foot.
i've got a '06 cooper s, automatic. the majority of my driving is done on city streets so i get 23 mpg. when i factor in a lot of freeway driving that number goes up to 30 mpg.

I have an '06 Cooper S automatic as well. Majority of my driving is on city streets. I'm getting 21.3 mpg, my mini says my average speed is 27.3mph not sure how accurate that is. I'd estimate it to be around 40mph. Most streets up where I live are 50mph speed limit. My revs are closer to 3500-4000 ;)
I too only fill my tank every 2 weeks... love working 5 miles from home :)

On a VERY good tank (where I've shifted at really low revs and did a lot of steady freeway driving) I'll get 24 or so. I usually get 18-20 on average. What can I say? I drive her hard and she loves it! It's probably all that topless driving I do. My husband gets 28-33 in his Clubman, but I think he doesn't have nearly as much fun. Shhhh!

Average 26 mpg in town best on the open road.... "41"mpg last week on a trip to Redlands!!!!!!

Wow and I thought I was bad! If I watch it, I can get 24 on my '05 Cooper S. Most of the time though I'm an admitted lead foot so I usually get 21 if I'm lucky. I started driving using my consumption readout (not average) instead of speed, it seems to help keep me on top. It really doesn't matter much since I just enjoy motoring more!

Don't forget, those of you with Turbo's ('07 and newer) will do better then ours with SuperChargers.

I know I get about 40 on the highway. My daily commute is 3.0 miles of some twisty backroads. Couldn't ask for a better commute. I fill the tank about once a month. Yep, I suck :)~

Wow, I thought my mileage was bad....I am so glad that some of you have worse mileage than ME !! Now I can tell my husband to quit giving me grief!! LOL I get about 24-25, fill up weekly, and drive an 06 GP. I love to see guys facial expressions in my mirror as I blow past them :P
