I love my car but shame on you Mini Cooper-ALL SHOULD READ

My 2009 Mini has a stress crack in the windshield that starts at the top seam. When I took my car in for scheduled maintenance, the service attendant told me it was warranty, which I figured since its on the seam and there's no divot from a rock or anything. They told me it would take 2 days to fix so it took me a little while to get it back in because I had to wait until school was out to be able to deal without having my car for 2 days. Don't call my car a go-cart!!

Have you heard the new Mini ads? I was listening to the radio when a Mini ad came on and they said "Mini Cooper....with go-cart handling." Really? Don't call my car a go-cart! What...are they trying to appeal to 13 year old boys??? Totally lame ad campaign IMHO. See More

I think this same thing happened to a friend of mine, and he had to take it in to the dealership. It's a malfunction. In the mean time, you can just plug in the seatbelt to shut it up! Good luck!

Damn seatbelt alert!!!

Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off the passenger seatbelt indicator? I like to put my book bag on the seat next to me and the stupid alert goes off. I know some of my books are a tad on the heavy side but cummon!!!! Someone please save me from having to look it up in the manual :o)
