I can't believe it's been more than a month since my last blog post. I've been really busy between my day job and working on stuff to make this site more interesting. I've teamed up with Ian Petrella, who is the mastermind behind a new animated series that we're working on. We'll (he'll) have something to show you sooner than later. I'm really excited about it, it's not like anything else I've ever seen. I know he and I will love it, I hope you will, too.
Ian and I also shot a "How-To" video that we'll be posting soon. It was a lot of fun to shoot, and I hope it will educate some of you.
I'm planning the Mini Skirts MIN-Equinox rally for March 22. The weather in Los Angeles has been kind of crappy on Sundays, so I haven't had the drive (ha ha, pun intended) to go out and plan the route, but this weekend, rain or shine, I will determine our route. I'll post the update on the events page, and I hope most of you will be able to make it! I like to make sure the rallies have as little impact on our wallets as possible so that we can all come out and enjoy ourselves, bring friends, make new ones. If you have any ideas for a drive you'd like to take, let me know! I love seeing new beautiful places in Southern California (eventually the world...).
I don't know about you guys, but I've found that if I state my intentions out loud, that I tend to make it happen. Well I would like to state out loud to all of you that I PLAN on having a billboard this year. In order to do that, I have to have something to say, which is why I'm producing content for this site, and above all that, I have to have the means to put that information up on the billboard. So my main goal this year is to have that billboard. I think everything else I need will fall into place. Hmmmm. I wonder if this blog post is disjointed. I don't care. It's 1:30 in the morning, I have to wake up in 6 hours and work a double shift and I had really strong coffee a little too late in the day so I'm up. I need to do something.
There was a guy who came by my work the other day, he was cleaning business's windows for $20. He had a pretty professional set-up. I saw him cleaning the windows across the street, they were gleaming. I admired him for finding work. Our windows were dirty, they could have used a good cleaning.
I'm applying for media credentials for the Grand Prix of Long Beach this year. I went last year with Patti, Secretary of Skirt. We had a freaking blast! I recommend it even if you don't know what kind of fun you might have, I've never been to anything like it and it was just exciting! We knew one of the racing teams, which made it better, but if any of you want to go, let me know, we'll meet up and all meet the racing team. It's a unique racing event because the race takes place on the streets of Long Beach, down around the convention center and aquarium. It's the actual city streets! It's very cool. The race takes place on Easter Weekend.
I think that may be all the updating for now. I want to thank all of you for being here and being a part of this network. My hope is that someday we'll have a million members, and you'll be able to say "I am member #76" to member #998,076. That would be terribly cool. Alright, I'm going to try and get some sleep now.
